Alexa Ruth Jakiela is a primary/secondary art educator and outdoor enthusiast native to Connecticut. Much of her art is influenced by her connection to natural world. Alexandra Lefter, I have always been tapped into my creative side, in many different forms, since very young. My inspiration comes from our natural environment. It’s just so beautiful and mind blowing. We all have a voice in our soul; we just don’t always listen and acknowledge it’s there – mine comes out in forms of art!

Carrie Clarke is a public accountant, college professor, motivational speaker and artist. What began as an innocent act of posting artwork on Facebook has turned into an avenue to fulfill a creative passion Carrie has always dreamed of. Since before she can remember creativity was a driving factor in who she was, where she was going and what she was to become. At a very young age creativity manifested itself in crayons, pencils, chalk, and mud… it made no difference. Nowadays, Carrie has narrowed her focus to interior decorating, fashion and most recently her sketch book after a 20-year break. You can listen to Carrie’s story on a weekly basis at Carrie Clarke Speaker (Facebook).
